James Kennedy – CEO and Founder
Background:
Mr Kennedy is the majority owner of The Network Support Company, LLC (TNSC). Before starting TNSC, he co-founded the first computer rental company in Connecticut in 1983 and served as its President until 1992. From 1993 until 1996, he served as Vice President of Network Technology for Maplecrest Software Development.
During that time period Mr. Kennedy became very active in community service. In 1999 and 2000 he was a member of the Knights of the IT Roundtable, Bass Hotel and Resort’s Technology Advisory Board, and chaired BHR’s High Speed Internet Access Solution Selection Committee. He has been a speaker on technology domestically and internationally and has written several published articles.
Mr. Kennedy has a degree in economics from Amherst College and is a National Merit Scholar.
Today:
Mr. Kennedy continues to be very active in the community. He sits on the Board of Directors at Danbury Hospital and chairs its Technology Advisory Board. He is a member of the Ancell School of Business Advisory Council, Ability Beyond Disability Technology Advisory Council, an elder at Walnut Hill Community Church, Chairman of the Samaritan Health Center, a free pediatric clinic in Danbury; and participates in various other charitable activities.
