Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel
The Showcase of Champions trade show is one of the Dutchees County Region Chamber's premier events. Not only does it attract businesses but it is also designed to attract the community, which it accomplishes through a variety of ways. The Network Support Company will be exhibiting and reaching out to SMB owners in this region with variety of IT services and has teamed up with Fujitsu to introduce their new PC notebooks.
The trade show is preceded by the NDEAM Awards program which is held in the Mid Hudson Civic Center from 10:30 to 11:30. This is an opportunity to highlight those businesses which show an extraordinary commitment to the disabled community by hiring the disabled, making physical plant changes for them, and/or providing flexible work schedules for disabled workers.
Immediately following this awards program, there is a ribbon cutting attended by government officials and dignitaries which officially opens up the Showcase of Champions.
More than 100 vendors are accommodated throughout the hotel in its ballroom, meeting rooms, suites, and corridors. In addition, there is a Chef' Showcase which does exactly that - it showcases 6 local chefs. Each chef has one hour for set up, preparation, and serving. There will be a variety of seminars presented throughout the trade show which draws from both the business and local communities.
